Automation Engineer (Steel Product Manufacturing)

Responsibilities and duties

Duties may include:

PLC programming for different manufacturing (Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens)
Maintain and improve SCADA /HMI existing infrastructure.
Drive process optimization initiatives through automation solutions.
Lead internal automation projects from conception to implementation.
Conduct risk assessments for new project implementation.

Skills and experience

Candidate Requirements:

5+ years of proven technical experience in heavy industries or related (mining, O&G)
Experience in design and implementation of industrial networking solutions with an awareness of modern network maturity models.
Experience with automation platform programming (Rockwell, Schneider, Siemens PLC’s)
Experience with HMI programming
Experience in developing E,I&C schedules (cable, instrument, I/O, etc.)
