Field Sales Engineer in NZ

Our customer is a leading Asia-Pacific B2B provider of quality electronic components, engineering design services and supply chain management. The company has been in the market since 1987 and with presence in more than 40 cities and 10 countries, it has also been listed in the top 15 semiconductor distribuitors in a global scale ranking.

We are currently looking to attract a visionary and personable Field Sales Engineer to be based anywhere in NZ. This role is aimed to be from Home (Remote), with the capability to travel and visit customers around areas of interests and meet with the team.

Responsibilities and duties

Maintain and support existing customer base in NZ and uncover new opportunities as they arise.
Create business opportunities with potential customers in NZ.
Provide technical support to customers throughout the R&D cycle till completion.
Drive design win and demand creation revenue for the company.
Meet and exceed sales revenue targets and gross profit targets as set out by management.
Grow franchised product lines within the customer base.

Skills and experience

Degree/Diploma in Electronics or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
Minimum 4 years of relevant working experience.
Sales/FAE experience in a semiconductor distributor or manufacturer environment.
Excellent knowledge of Active and Passive products and their applications.
Knowledge of Customer needs.
Communicate effectively with senior executives in negotiations.
Work as a key member of the team and liaise effectively with marketing teams within the organisation.
Communicate effectively with all levels of management within the organisation.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
